朝日新聞社は、自動車を愛し、技術向上に切磋琢磨する全国の大学自動車部員を対象としたPlaystation®用ソフト「グランツーリスモ」シリーズタイトルのｅモータースポーツ大会「GT Young Challenge」を2020年に創設しました。
本年度から同大会を「GT College League」にリニューアル。大学自動車部対抗レースに加えて、自動車やモータースポーツの様々な魅力に出会う大会としてバージョンアップします。
前回大会に続いて、本年度も国内最高峰のフォーミュラカーレース「スーパーフォーミュラ」と連携。
2022年10月29日（土）開催の予選大会を第21回JAFグランプリ 全日本スーパーフォーミュラ選手権第９戦・10戦が行われる鈴鹿サーキットで開催します。
